Liverpool will soon be playing host to the finest INDIE-POP music event in the UK, in the guise of: LOVELYPOOL, brought to you by TWEEFAX :)
The 1st in the series of seasonal events will kick off on Thursday, 7th March 2013 from 7.30pm at Studio2, Parr St, home of the legendary, grammy award-winning Parr St Studios! A perfect space for what is guaranteed to be a perfect indie-pop night and only £3 (pay on the door) lovely! :)

Sensational indie-power pop band from Wirral, Meow Meow, released their 4 track EP earlier this year, at the 4th USED VINYL CLUB record launch events at MELLO MELLO in Liverpool, on a Split EP with DOUBLE, DOUBLE PLUS GOOD with REKORDMEISTER MUSIC. THE SWAPSIES
Having recently graced the airwaves with an acoustic session on Radio Merseyside's, BBC Introducing show with DAVE MONKS, this newly formed four piece indie-pop band are in the midst of recording their debut EP which will be released later this year. Having only played a handful of gigs so far, they made their debut appearance at USED VINYL CLUB no.6, supporting the Vinyl EP launch of HALLO I LOVE YOU.

"The Swapsies are definitely one to look out for..."...said, music reporter Peter Guy in his GET INTO THIS music review blog for Liverpool Echo. Their next gig, supporting Indie-Pop legends, ALLO DARLIN took place at Liverpool's KAZIMIER club and created even more of a buzz with a positively pleasant review in Liverpool's top music mag BIDO LITO issue no 27 -top of page 36!

Next up is MEAN JEAN, who are also fairly new to the Mersey Music scene. They're not actually that mean at all - infact they are all rather lovely! They played their debut gig at USED VINLYL CLUB no.09 supporting the the superb SILENT SLEEP and an EP launch from MARRIED TO THE SEA. More recently, they played the FLEETWOOD MAC theme at the infamous 10BANDS10MINUTES event at The Kazimier, that takes place regularly in Liverpool, and went down a storm! They too are in the midst of recording some songs so we will keep you posted when they are ready for your ear drums! For now you can keep up with them of FACEBOOK and TWITTER.
L'AMOUR DES REVES
I cannot wait to see these guys perform live! The enchanting Boyfriend/Girlfriend duo will be visiting LOVELYPOOL from Sheffield to provide you with a live set of glamorous ye-ye, indie-space pop & merseybeat sounds. Read more about them in this FLUX Q&A session.
